Hi Everyone!
I'm sure by now you realize I am a Snarky Sister! Well the Sisters got together and talked...We. Like. To. Talk., and decided we had to find some people and have a blast! We thought let's party with Just Us Girls! By the way, with that acronym, J.U.G.s, we new we were going to have an awesome time!!
This is the first card I made with die-cut flowers from dryer sheets. I have tried other dryer sheets techniques, but this one was a little more difficult than I had expected. There were a few different shim trials before I had the flowers cut out completely. This might be due to the small size of the Tattered Flowers or because of the composition of used dryer sheets. I tried unused dryer sheets and although they cut out easier, I didn't like the stiff texture.
Prior to cutting, I painted the dryer sheets with Tim Holtz Distress Paints. The card base is from Stampin' Up and the DP is from the Daphne's Closet Collection by Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Get Fired Up!
Hi All!
I'm back again and using Crackerbox Palace Stamps!
The first step of this card was painting wet watercolor paper with dry brushed acrylic paint. I also painted two pieces of cardstock with Tim Holtz Distress Paints. Rena's Rock was cut out of one using Peeled Paint, Scattered Straw, Walnut Stain, and Tarnished Bronze Distress Paints. Rena's Fire Dragon-Alhern was cut out of the other sheet made with Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Salty Ocean, Ripe Persimmon, and Tarnished Bronze Distress Paints. Alhern's fire was accented with Orange Peel Stickles.
I am submitting this card to:
