Happy Birthday Card-Drunken Stampers: Anything Goes!

Hi All!

We're back......!  I bet you thought you got rid of us.  Well, no, we're back after a month break with the first of the Drunken Stampers challenges of the year.  Our Challenge #157 is Anything Goes!  Have fun designing whatever you want and become our next Life of the Party!

I designed this birthday card for a friend...she likes traditional cards and I felt the cupcake out of the Birthday Blueprint stamp set from Tim Holtz was the way to go!  Black Core'dination's card stock was dry embossed and sanded.  I used Distress Stains to color the watercolor paper.  I then stamped the cupcake twice, fussy cut the frosting, and colored it with Copics.  It was embellished with some Stickles  - Orange Peel, Yellow, and Distress Rock Candy, ribbon, and jewels.

I hope you enjoyed this card.  Don't forget to enter the Drunken Stampers Anything Goes - Challenge #157 You have until 11:59 PST on Friday, February 7th to post your project and vie for the title of The Life of the Party!  We're always looking for someone to drink with us!

I'm entering this in the following challenges:
Eureka Stamps Challenge #74 -Anything Goes

See you soon,
Karen

Thanks for your comments!  I truly appreciate them!

All That Stickles Sweet and Sparkly Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Sweet & Sparkly Blog Hop brought to you by the All that Stickles design team!

The holidays are just around the corner, and the ATS design team has put together some fabulous, sparkly projects to help get in the holiday spirit!

If you're looking to start at the beginning of the hop, please visit All that Stickles. If you've come from
Laura's blog, you're in the right place.

Every year I make some homemade gift for all my family members.  This year it is going to be Cappuccino mixI am trying to perfect a Gingerbread Cookie Cappuccino to go along with these cute cans I picked up on clearance at Joann's a year or two ago.  They were so inexpensive I just had to get them!  The Gingerbread Cookie Cappuccino recipe is almost there so if you're interested in the recipe when I am finished, please leave me your e-mail below.

This is the finished tin on which I used Christmas Red, Yellow, Champagne, True Blue, Frosted Lace, and Fired Brick Red Distress Stickles.

These photos are of the original tin with no Stickles. Cute, but not very sparkly!

Happy Holidays Linky Party!-All That Stickles!

 Hi All!

I updated an angel sign for our All That Stickles Linky Party.  Our theme is Happy Holidays!

I added Mercury Stickles to cover the white painted stars. I outlined the halo and brushed the wings with Rock Candy Distress Stickles.  The wings show much more sparkle than they do in the photo...it's been really dark here, so my photos are off.  I covered the copper stars with Antiqued Linen Distress Sickles. I dotted the snowflakes with Frosted Lace Stickles.

Make sure to go over to the All That Stickles Blog and join our Happy Holiday Linky Party!  You have until Friday, December 20 at 11:00 pm CST to link up your project or card!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
