 Hi All!

Welcome to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #15 -K is for Kraft!  Let's get krafty...all you have to do is use some kraft paper!

Don't you just love that Cats Meow stamp!  The kitten on top of the cat's tail is a hoot!   The kraft card is made with Fun Stampers Journey Oatmeal CS and their brand new Pocket Card die!  It is so cool!  The cat was stamped with Black Licorice True Color Fusion Ink.  Happy Birthday was stamped in Whip Cream True Color Fusion Ink.  Black Licorice and Whipped Cream CS was also used.  The Pennants Die accented the cat insert!  Everything but the Washi tape and the pearls are from Fun Stampers Journey.  You need to check out the True Color Fusion Inks; so different than other inks!  The inks were what sold me on becoming a Journey Coach!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #14 - Z is for Zoo!

Hi All!

Welcome to the The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #14 - Z is for Zoo!  All you need to do is make a project featuring animals or animal prints!

No stamping this time.  I found this awesome photo* of a baby giraffe!  For some reason I think his name is Gerard...Gerard Giraffe.    I felt Gerard seemed to be blowing a (tongue between the teeth) raspberry.  His tongue is not showing but, from this angle, his upper lip looks like one.   “TTTTHPBT!” and the inside sentiment was typed in a free font - Distress.  I used the Tim Holtz Burlap Texture Fade and embossed an Um Wow chipboard branch.  All the cardstock is from Club Scrap.

Butterfly Card for SoSS Challenge #13-L is for Layer : One Layer

Hi All!
Well, I'm a week late, drat!  I do procrastinate, but this is really bad!  I had no card making mojo going, especially for a one layer card.  I decided to post this card late since I wanted to share my photos of Flat Edna!

I'll tell you about the card after you check out Flat Edna!

Flat Edna visited our local grocery stores-Woodman's.  Their headquarters in in Janesville.  Edna and I did not do grocery shopping, get gas, or go through their car wash, but we perused the selections of another area of the store!  Let's just say, before we became the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers we were part of the design team of Drunken Stampers!  Does that give you a little clue?

Flat Edna & I had a blast checking out two Wisconsin wines along with other uniquely named ones.  Like the SoSS, Edna enjoys her libations!  It took quite awhile to make it through all the wines...their selection is huge!!!  My favorite is Prairie Fume' from Wollersheim Winery.
The manager recommended 19 Crimes; I haven't opened it yet...I'm not sure I want to "Uncork a Criminal".  But, what the heck, I'll try it tonight!  :-)  It's named for the 19 Crimes that could get you sent to Australia.
One more wine and after that a few of the many Wisconsin Craft beers!  Spotted Cow from the New Glarus Brewing Co. is one of my favorites!  Another beer is made where Snarky Sister, Lee, used to live.

Back to the card:

I spritzed the card base using the Distress Marker Spritzer.  Then I stamped the sentiment and Swallowtail Butterfly from Stampin' Up with Versamark.  The Aqua Opaque embossing powder I used was Zing!'s.  After I poured the EP off I noticed that the spritzes were still wet enough for the EP to adhere.  I edged the card with VersaMagic in Turquoise Gem.

Have fun, create, and enter Challenge #13 for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers~L is for Layer-One Layer!   We'd love to see what you come up with!

You have until Friday, August 8th, at 11:55 pm EDT to enter at SoSSYou'll have a chance to win the auspicious title of Queen or Princess of Snark!  You know you want to win it!  If you're our Queen, you can be our Guest Designer!
