Snarky Stella Sunshine! Quirky Crafts Guest Designer - Starts with "S"

Welcome All!

This is my first post of a two month stint as Guest Designer for Quirky Crafts Challenges!
Challenge #9 is Starts with "S"  My card is full of a lot of "S"!

Stella is full of Sunshine and Snark!  Stella, along with her dogs (from left to right) Stenton, Stewart, and Steffi are having a Sunshiny day...or are they?  Well, anyone who's anyone knows Stella and Stella is no Slouch!  She won't let you get away with S@*#...unless it's her dog's S@*#!  Obviously Someone did Something to send Stella in to a Stellar S@*# fit!  I hope it wasn't you!!!

I love everything Stella, especially her Snarkiness!  Stella Tidbits - Ray of Sunshine is from Bugaboo, our generous sponsor for this challenge! She was printed on Xpress Paper, colored with Copics, and fussy cut.  I used Tim Holtz's Rays Layering Stencil and inked it with Mustard Seed Distress Ink to make the background.   A strip of green washi tape was added to the bottom.  The adorable Puppy brads are from Eyelet Outlet.

Thanks so much for visiting,
Karen

Princess Birthday Card

Hi All!

I made this birthday card for my Great-Niece who is an adorable princess!  I used the digital image-Dress Up-Princess image from Stamping Dragon Designs.  She was colored with Copics and fussy cut.  Her sparkly beauty comes from Rock Candy Dry Distress Glitter.  After I colored her irises, I covered them with my Spica Pen for added sparkle.  The words were printed using the font: Fontdinerdotcom Sparkly-pick it up for free!

Happy Earth Day!!!! Easter Bunny....hmmmm?

Hello and Happy Earth Day!

It is an absolutely gorgeous Earth Day in Southern Wisconsin!  I hope you are having a beautiful day too!

Bunny Blue is bewildered and very blue!  He is missing an egg.  Hmmm...where is it?  Hopefully he'll solve his dilemma soon.

I recycled some scraps to make this ATC.  The cardstock I used for the background, bunny, grass, and eggs are from my scraps!  The eggs were punched out of white scraps, colored with Copics and stamped.

Bunny Blue from Crackerbox Palace, was stamped on a scrap of X-Press paper, and colored with Copics.  After I made straight cuts on the green cardstock I went back in and fringed the ends.  I added Doodlebug Doodle Twine in Limeade, Tangerine, and Bubblegum.  The flowers are from my Prima stash.

I am entering this ATC in the following challenges:

Bugaboo Bingo Challenge   4/26  I used the Die/Punch, Player's Choice, and Flowers.  I wasn't sure if scraps would be considered recycled for this challenge.  If so, I can also make a Bugaboo Bingo with that, Player's Choice, and Use Hot Pink, Orange, or Lime Green.

Crazy Catz Challenge #227: B is For...  4/24  Bunny Blue, Baker's Twine, Bright Colors, Blue Sky, Bewildered, and Blue (sad).

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - Challenge #6: E is for Embellishment!

Hello All!

Welcome to our #6 Challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!  Our letter is "E" as in "E" is for Embellishment (Use at least two)!!!  Time to have fun and bring out the bling, ribbon, flair, flowers, chipboard, etc!  You can choose to be snarky or not, but whatever you choose don't forget to enter for the chance to win the coveted title of "Queen of Snark"!

My card, hmmm...it's a little bit snarky.

All of the stamps are from Crackerbox Palace Rubber Stamps!  I stamped the Frog Prince saying on shrink plastic.  Gypsy and Frog Sweetie are stamped on X-Press paper, colored with Copics, and fussy cut.  The Black Tie glitter paper is from Core'dinations.

My embellishments are the jewel earring (rhinestone), ribbon and jewel swirl.  BTW, I recycled the jewel swirl off a card I made long ago and always hated.  I finally decided to throw it out but couldn't throw out the jewel swirl.  Bling isn't cheap.  Luckily it was on a piece of glossy cardstock so I could pull it off, almost intact.  :)  Some rhinestones fell off.  :(   So, trying to make the best of things, I placed Frog Sweetie over the missing pieces.  I think it worked...his love is radiating over to his pursued love.

Visit the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for all the details and check out the awesome artwork the rest of the DT has created!

Then join in the fun for your chance to win the awesome title of "Queen of Snark" or "Princess of Snark"!  You want the crown, you know you do!  Post your "E" is for Embellishment project by 11:55 (EDT) on Friday, May 2nd to play along!

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Birthday!

Hi Again!

I had to make a birthday card stat!  I used Club Scrap cards...the black lines are raised, so cool and perfect for me to use with their Zebra stamp.  The Happy Birthday stamp is also theirs.  Of course it's a birthday card and so I had to add some bling!  I posted this to enter it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog for their challenge is Happy Birthday!  They are celebrating their 5th year of challenges!

I am entering this card in the following challenge:

Father's Day

Hi All!

This card was made with two sets of Tim Holtz stamps: The  Man and the Gears are from Time Travelers by Brett Weldele and the ticket stamp is from the Going Somewhere set.  I stamped the man on patterned paper and fussy cut it.  The patterned paper had a white background on which I used Distress Inks and stamped the gears.  I also distressed the two stickers with ink.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Q is for Queen! Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #5

It's time for the 5th Challenge at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.  Our letter for this challenge is "Q": "Q" is for Queen!  What else could it be since you have the chance to win the coveted title of "Queen of Snark"!

All of the stamps I used are from Crackerbox Palace Rubber Stamps.  I love their stamps!!!  They also have a phenomenal selection of snarky sayings!

I stamped the images on X-Press paper and then colored them with Copics.  Then I fussy cut them and fringed a small piece of green "homemade paper" to make the grass. You don't get to see Alhern's teeth since I cut one off and decided it was not going to work for me.  If I had been using a smooth background paper I would have also stamped Alhern on the paper and then you would see his teeth.  The Most Royal Ruby the Queen needed outstanding jewels of course.

Visit the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers for all the details and check out the awesome artwork the rest of the DT has create!

Then join in the fun for your chance to win the awesome title of "Queen of Snark" or "Princess of Snark"!  You want the crown, you know you do!  Post your "Q" is for Queen project by 11:59 (EDT) on Friday, April 15th to play along!
