To cool your day...a trio of Under the Sea creations

.
I made this trio of Under the Sea creations for trades at the "Celebrate You" Fun Stampers Journey Convention.  The convention was absolutely amazing!  Our new catalog, going live on July 1st, is over 300 pages and has so many new awesome items.  Only a couple of weeks...

It was a Trio Trade...three colors and three types of cards while using one set of stamps.  We were to make a card, an ATC (artist trading card), and a pocket card.

I love the Under the Sea stamp set and had fun creating the background paper, which I do for many of my cards.  I use our most versatile stamp...the Ink Splat ATC.

I covered Whip Cream cardstock, stamping the splat in one color and then another, and another, etc., building depth and creating new colors where the splats intersect.  I made three background papers of different color combinations since I was making 15 trio sets.  You could make it on one sheet by varying the colors used in different areas.  I then stamped and die cut the images.

To create the background of the card and ATC I embossed Pool Play CS using the Ink Splash EF.  The main color I used was one of our brand new colors, Cosmic Grape.  I love these new, bright, amazing colors which you can order on July 1st when our new FSJ catalog goes live.

I used Turbo Teal (new color) Silk to accent the Note Pocket card. Blue Skies sequins were used on the card while Sparkle Dots were added to the ATC and Note Pocket card.  I popped up a seahorse and some fish because "when in doubt, pop it out".
