GD for Quirky Crafts Challenge #12-Fairy Aurora

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to Quirky Crafts Challenge #12 - It is a Quirky Fairy World (Recipe challenge)  We invite you to leave the real world and invent you own Fairy World. Build up your own enchanted world, using at least three of the following items from the fairy ring (and a fairy of course). We want to know your dreams!

I just found out about the Recipe party of the challenge so I only have two of the items: Sparkles and Sentiment.  During the reminder post I'll follow it, I promise.  :)  I used my favorite fairy and fairy sentiment stamps from Crackerbox Palace Rubber Stamps, our gracious sponsor.  I colored Fairy Aurora with a Wand using Copics and attached her to a piece of purple leathery paper I bought eons ago from Provocraft.  Both the purple paper and the blue are shimmery to begin with but I thought a little bit fairy dust was needed so I covered the purple paper under Aurora with Distress Glitter.  Aurora loves her happy dust!  Check out the awesome Hello Happy Dust verse inside!

Guest Designer Reminder Post for Quirky Craft Challenge #11~It's About Quirky Time!

Hi All!

Welcome to my reminder post for Quirky Craft Challenge #11~It's About Quirky Time!  It's all about time, so let's see clocks somewhere on your project, it could be an altered clock, anything as long as there are clocks~any sort of clocks!
I have one more challenge after this as Guest Designer for Quirky Crafts Challenges...I am going to miss it.  :(

I'm using a new toy I bought, the Sizzix Triple Clip Flip-its!  Everything was cut, except the Time To Party sentiment, from the dies...so cool!  All of the Clock/Time images are from The Cutting Cafe, our sponsor for this challenge.  I printed the images on various papers, attached then and popped up the clocks!  That is it.

Visit Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog and check out their awesome Design Team!  Their projects are very Timely!

CAS Clock Card...Guest Designer for Quirky Crafts Challenge: Clocks

Hi All!

I'm here again as Guest Designer for Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog!  Challenge #11 is It's About Quirky Time!  This challenge is all about time, so we want to see clocks somewhere on your project, or maybe an altered clock, you can use time sentiments but there must be clocks, egg timers~any sort of clocks!

This CAS Thank You card would be great for anyone who has helped out, you know, given their Time!

I printed the background, Clocks from the Cutting Cafe on kraft cardstock and mounted it on black.  The saying is printed using a free font...The Blue Cabin.   I attached a glass dome to a clock from The Cutting Cafe's, It's About That Time.   No distressing or inking the edges...very scary.

It's a quick card to make!  I have to start making more CAS cards.  Most cards take me well over an hour or two, to finally get them to the point I like them enough to say they are mine.

Get Fired Up!

Hi All!
I'm back again and using Crackerbox Palace Stamps!

The first step of this card was painting wet watercolor paper with dry brushed acrylic paint.   I also painted two pieces of cardstock with Tim Holtz Distress PaintsRena's Rock was cut out of one using Peeled Paint, Scattered Straw, Walnut Stain, and Tarnished Bronze Distress Paints. Rena's Fire Dragon-Alhern was cut out of the other sheet made with Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Salty Ocean, Ripe Persimmon, and Tarnished Bronze Distress Paints. Alhern's fire was accented with Orange Peel Stickles.

I am submitting this card to:
